Minister
Once upon a time, this word meant clergy only. While ordained ministers do have particular and specialized ministries to perform, Episcopalians now recognize, not only in our language, that every baptized Christian has a call to minister. Hence, we understand that all Christians are ministers.
Our current catechism reads, "The ministers of the Church are lay persons, bishops, priests and deacons." (page 855, Book of Common Prayer)
