News for Fridays [Yes, Fridays]
Well, "Fridays" Friday evening meetings may be over for the summer but we still have many events on the calendar for you, your friends and family members.
On Sunday, June 11th, we will have the annual Parish Picnic at Holy Ghost Park, Shelton CT. Come at 10 am for the service, which will be followed by the picnic. Details regarding tickets. etc can be found posted on the blog. The blog is a link for the St. Paul's website, which I'm sure is already bookmarked on your computers. The blog is an invaluable source of information and should be checked regularly for updated information on all parish activities. All my emails can be found there, as well. Many thanks to Father Rob for his part as the "Blogmaster"!
Please contact Leslie if you are not already signed up to volunteer at our upcoming car wash which will be held on Saturday, June 17th from 10 am to 2 pm. This is the last official fundraising event for our summer mission trip. Please come out and help!!
We are still accepting donations for MissionTrip "Angels" and Scholarship/sponsorships. Any unused funds will be set aside to pay for transportation for future trips like Lake Champion Retreats. The cost of transportation has become our single most expensive expense, so we need to pray that money will be available to continue these meaningful trips for our kids.
