A Prayer Request

Yesterday, Jenni and I learned of the death of a friend of ours. It was not expected. We will be officiating at his funeral on Monday morning at Jenni's former parish in Great Barrington, Mass. If you would remember him, and especially his wife and sons, in your prayers, we would be grateful.

This article pretty well sums him up, except it fails to mention that, as a younger man, he studied for the Roman Catholic priesthood. That, more than any medical school, informed his work and life.
