Mission Trip to Nigeria

On February 16, Nancy and Steve Baranowski, together with former parishioner, Susan Ober, and Father Tom Furrer along with 4 other lay members will begin a 12 day trip to Kateri, Nigeria. Nancy and Susan, both nurses, will be joining a physician and giving immunizations and basic medical care to rural people who have no access to basic medical care. Steve, Fr. Tom and the rest of the members will be making repairs to the Kateri Medical Clinic which is funded by the Diocese of Kaduna and Trinity Episcopal Church in Tariffville. In addition, all members of the team will be going into remote villages and spreading the Good News.

If you would like to know more about the mission trip or would like to support us with donations to purchase medical equipment and medications please contact Nancy or Steve. If you would like to donate items such as Tylenol, Motrin, Band-Aids, antibiotic ointment, prenatal vitamins or iron pills, there will be a bin in the Narthex beginning February 1. If you wish to make a monetary donation, please make your check payable to Trinity Episcopal Church noting “Kateri Medical Clinic” in the memo portion of the check. Finally, please pray for the team’s safety and success to bring the love of Jesus to those in great need.
